Holly Hipster

I've made another card... This time I have used Holly Hipster by Charmed Cards & Crafts. She was real fun to colour with my Promarkers. I have also played around with my new embossing folder... I just loooove the polka dots it makes, and I know I'm going to use it loads! I have also played with a few of my new cutting dies... OOoohhh, it's so much fun!
I have added some dots with liquid pearls around the image... I really like the effect that gives. Why haven't I tried that out before??
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Card Patterns: 154 Sketch.
Allsorts Challenge: 143- It's your choice.
The Sisterhood of Crafters: Use a digital stamp.

Saturated Canary

I've got a new favourite! Saturated Canary digis are the cutest! You just gotta love them all. This is my first card using a SC image, this one is called Hand-Me-Downs...
This is a quick and simple card, using a few pieces of scrap paper that was still lying on my desk from previous projects. Better to use them than to throw them out, right? I have used Promarkers to colour in with. I've also used some stickles on her dress... you can see it a bit better on the pic below.
I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
2 Sisters Challenge Blog - Challenge #80 - anything goes.
Just some lines - Girlie girl challenge.
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Getting Digi with it.
Allsorts - Week 143 - It's your choice.

Winter holidays and a card

Just a quick note today as I'm busy baking. We're having a wee party for Susie this afternoon... it's her 3rd birthdayparty since her birthday a week ago...

Since my last post, the girls and I have spent a few days in Kristiansand with my parents. It was good to see them again. Susie got her ears pierced while we were away... she was so tough, no crying or anything.... Isn't that pretty??
Maja wanted a second piercing in one of her ears too.... cute...

Here's a quick card I made last week. Just for fun... Image by Mo Manning, coloured in with Promarkers. It's a christening card... It's always nice to have some cards lying about just in case...

Thanks for looking. Hope you all have a very nice week end.... I'm sure there is plenty of cake for this afternoon... so just pop by if you want some.... lol....

What a star...

I would like to start by saying a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little sunbeam SUSIE who is 5 years old today! Wooohooo!

I had to make a card for a birthday party on really short notice, and this is what I came up with:
I had coloured the image a while ago, but hadn't gotten around to using it. So the card was quite quick to put together. I think maybe I should start having ready coloured images lying around for times when I have to throw a card together really quick....
I'm entering this card into these challenge:
Flutter By Wednesday #190 - Anything with wings.
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything goes.
Divas by design - challenge 22 - Wings and things.

The fat lady...

Just a quick post today. I made this card a couple of weeks back. I'm not sure if I'm really pleased with it although I find the image quite amusing... The image is called "Krilla Rocks" and is by I really like her fat hips... lol... I have used my Promarkers to colour her with.
Can't remember which ones though...

A peek of the inside.... decorated with some leftover scraps from the front and a panel to write on.....

Thanks for looking.

Ice skating

Yesterday was such a nice day, a bit on the cold side, but the sun was shining and there were no wind. So we couldn't waste it being inside all day. I decided to take the girls ice skating. There is fantastic ice at Maja's school.
When we arrived, Susie could hardly move forwards on her own, so I had to push or drag her around the ice. But after watching Maja for about 20 minutes, she suddenly just figured out how to do i herself.... Thought I would show you a little video... this was taken about 25 minutes after arriving at the ice....

So much fun!
